Crossbow

The wooden tiller of the crossbow is reinforced with decorated bone inlays. The roller nut on top of the tiller is also made of bone. Underneath the tiller is a long iron trigger. The string is missing.

The crossbow was obtained for the collections of the National Museum of Finland from Pielavesi in 1889. KE49
