Threaded blanket from Iitti

This threaded blanket was made by a blacksmith’s wife named Maria Hågen, who lived in the village of Kauramaa, Iitti, around 1850. The blanket is of the Eastern Häme–Kymenlaakso type, characterised by stem stitch-type threading.
