Embroidered blanket from Luvia, Satakunta

The blanket was obtained for the museum’s collections before 1885 and cannot be dated more accurately. The blanket is in two lengths, i.e. the base fabric has been made by joining two parts. The following stitches have been used: herringbone, satin, stem and chain stitches. The satin stitches are partially tied.
