Raanu-Maija’s grid rug from Kinnula
The first owner of this raanu rug bought it in 1925 from a professional weaver known as Raanu-Maija. Unfortunately, Raanu-Maija’s last name is not known. The rug was purchased for the museum’s collections in 1971.
