Threaded blanket rescued from a waste bin

In 1978, a threaded blanket found in a waste bin in Helsinki was donated to the museum’s collections. The blanket is marked with the year of completion 1864 and the letters ALPF(P?)R. Due to the way in which the blanket was acquired, there are no records about it, but it has been skilfully made and the edge pattern is reminiscent of the threaded blanket from Lahti.
