Leather shoe

A leather shoe, medium brown in colour. The shoe was assembled during conservation. The outer sole of the shoe is thick leather, slightly worn at the ball of the foot and at the tip. A star-shaped pattern, 0.6 cm in diameter, in the middle of the outer sole. There is a stitching groove and a row of nail holes along the outer edge. The heel consists of three pieces of leather on top of each other. The heel has nail holes at the edges and five larger holes with a ring-shaped nail head pattern. The shoe has an intact inner sole with nail holes in the heel. The leather upper consists of a tip and two side pieces sewn together at the heel. The side pieces also extend into buckle straps.
