Salt mortar from Mari El
Mari teacher Timofei Yevsevyev (1887–1937) acquired objects for the collections of the National Museum of Finland in 1907–1927. Made of lathed wood, this mortar-type salt container is from his home village of Mork in the present-day Mari El Republic.
