On Wednesdays, children get to explore history through hands-on activities and experimentation in guided workshops. In the workshop, children can craft small souvenirs of their trip to the museum and take them home.
Children's Own Workshops every Wednesday in July, 2–4 PM.
In the children's own workshops at Ivars' yard, or in case of rain in the Iisalmi parsonage, we create a small souvenir from the museum visit under the guidance of a guide. The themes change throughout the summer.
No prior registration is needed, and participation is with your own adult. Children get free entry to the museum and workshops, while adults participate with a museum ticket.
