Third floor

The National Museum of Finland’s updated third floor is open during the museum’s opening hours on the autumn break week. The third floor is a multi-purpose space for visitors of all ages where you can relax and have permission – and are even encouraged – to be creative! The third floor challenges you to think about important life values and issues at the non-stop sign workshop and invites you to create your own illustration installation or just sit and enjoy a book.

With an Expert audio guide

Take an expert with you to the exhibition via headphones! This audio guide features Moomin expert Sirke Happonen, who talks about her favourite themes in the Moomins stories and shares fascinating details about the work of Tove Jansson. You can borrow the audio guide device for the exhibition from the museum’s Central hall.
