Future's National Museum of Finland

Finland's most important cultural history museum is a significant social actor and partner, whose exhibitions, collections and services are for everyone. Now, the single biggest construction project in the 100-plus-year history of the National Museum of Finland will create added space to the strongly renewed museum activities.

The construction of the extension of the National Museum of Finland began in September 2023. In November 2023, the renovation project of the museum's historic main building began. The complex consisting of the main building, the new part and the courtyard park will be completed in spring 2027.
