Auditorium

The museum's auditorium on the ground floor is perfect for groups of 60-220 persons.
Modern audiovisual facilities: video projector, connections for PC's, overhead projector, document camera, two slide projectors, DVD player, CD player and a fast Internet connection. There is a separate entrance from street level next to the main staircase leading directly to the auditorium and foyer on the ground floor.

Meeting room

A separate room for group sessions next to the auditorium is rented only in connection with auditorium events. The room seats approximately 20 persons. Its basic equipment consists of an overhead projector, a flip chart and a slide projector.

Entrance hall

It is possible to rent the entrance hall for private use after the museum closes (after 6 pm and whole day on Mondays). The space is ideal for cocktail parties, small dinners and publication events.

In the entrance hall, you can give your guests a unique experience in the most magnificent public space in Helsinki under the Kalevala-themed frescoes by Akseli Gallen-Kallela.

Cafeteria and restaurant services

Restaurant services for events held at the National Museum can be ordered from museum cafeteria. The services are provided in the foyer area next to the auditorium. The cafeteria seats 50, with an additional 50 seats in the outdoor area in the adjacent courtyard. Fully licensed.
