Tablecloth

A tablecloth that the donor's maternal grandmother Natalia von Lüders (née von Ellinger) bought from the Russian pavilion at the 1889 Paris Exposition. The tablecloth is embroidered with scenes from Russian folk poems and songs and the poem 'The Choosy Bride' by I. A. Krylov, among other works.
