Bronze medal
A bronze medal from the 1900 Paris Exposition. It was awarded to a clock built by the Finnish Clockmaker Väinö Maukonen (1877–1929). The medal was the first international recognition that Maukonen received for his clocks. Maukonen worked in Berlin, London and Paris in 1905–1906, in Helsinki from 1906, and later in St Petersburg. From 1916, he mostly worked in the United States.
