Guided tours

Guided tours take you on a journey through the Prison seen through the eyes of the prisoner. The guide also describes the operation of the Hämeenlinna prison in its years of operation from 1871 to 1993.

Tours start:

In Finnish at 12 noon and 3 pm

In English at 2 pm

The duration of the tour is approximately 45 minutes. The tour is intended for a maximum of 25 people. Please sign up in the museum shop.

Groups can book a private guided tour of the Prison. The duration of the guided tour is approximately 45 minutes. The price of the guided tour of the Prison is €70/guide + entrance tickets.
