Seurasaari Open-Air Museum is located on Seurasaari island. The museum is annually open from May 15 to September 15. The open-air museum requires an entrance ticket, which you can buy from webshop, the ticket kiosk by the Seurasaari bridge or from the museum shop at the Iisalmi parsonage. Seurasaari island in Helsinki is also a public park and free to enter all year round.

The museum is open yearly during the summer season from 15 May until 15 September.

On 27 May, some of the buildings will exceptionally close at 12 pm.
Closed on Midsummer Eve (19 June).

Tickets 2026
Entrance tickets are required to enter the museum buildings and their yards. Tickets can be bought in the museum's webshop, as well as at the ticket kiosk in Seurasaari and the museum shop in the Iisalmi parsonage. Admission to the museum is free for those under 18 years of age. Children under the age of 7 can only enter the museum when accompanied by an adult.
We accept Museum Card and Helsinki Card and Helsinki City Pass.

How to get there
The museum is located in Meilahti, about 4 km from the Helsinki city centre. Bus number 24, last stop at Seurasaari.

Next to the Seurasaari bridge is a limited area of parking space (time limit 4hrs). Next to the sportsfield of Meilahti (about 1,5 km) is a free parking area.
