Tet 2 Onni Vesa

TET period at the National Museum of Finland

Interested in history, stories and art? Do you enjoy the company of people in a fast-paced environment where your tasks might range from cleaning display cases to guiding a daycare group? Would you like to do your TET period at the National Museum of Finland?

We welcome 8th and 9th-graders to familiarise themselves with working life at the National Museum of Finland in November 2022 and in spring 2023. Also known as the TET period, familiarisation with working life at the National Museum of Finland gives you perspectives on history, the modern day and the future.

The TET period at the National Museum of Finland lasts a week. Our working hours are usually from 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday, but you might also have an opportunity to work in the afternoon at openings or public events.

Your TET week at the National Museum of Finland features an opportunity to work in customer service, following guided tours as an assistant guide, producing content for the Museum’s social media channels, getting to know the unique historical collections of the museum and more! We will provide you with lunch during your working days.

Please send us a free-form application by 14 October 2022. Tell us why you would like to do your TET week at the National Museum of Finland and which week you would prefer. We fill the TET vacancies by drawing lots among all who have sent us an application. We have three to six TET vacancies in autumn 2022.

Please send your enquiries and application to: museopeda@kansallismuseo.fi
