The ESSE Festival for Performing Arts
The ESSE festival for performing arts will take place for the third time in Seurasaari, Helsinki on 29.7.2023. The festival brings together artists and art lovers in a unique way where performing arts meet with nature and the museum environment harmoniously.
The festival programme includes the internationally known magician Robert Jägerhorn’s and theremin pioneer Susanna Viljanmaa’s performance, Arctic Ensemble’s sailing streetshow Adrift, contemporary dance performance BUSKING by the multidisciplinary ensemble TARGET Helsinki and many other masters of the performing arts.
The programme starts with performances for the whole family and continues with more interdisciplinary performances for the adult audience. The performances will be seen in the atmospheric environment of Seurasaari Open-Air Museum and in the beautiful nature of the island.
The ESSE festival is produced by Agit-Cirk and made in collaboration with Seurasaari Open-Air Museum.
Festival tickets:
- 25€ adults
- 15€ children between 4-12 years old, students, pensioners, unemployed, conscripts, TEME-members
- Ticket includes entry to the museum during the festival day
