Public guided tours are held at Hvitträsk every day from Wednesday to Sunday. You can also book a guided tour of the museum for yourself, a group of friends or some other group.

Public guided tours are organised daily in Finnish and English. See below for a more detailed schedule. The tour is included in the price of admission to the museum.
We do not accept advance bookings for public tours. Each guided tour can accommodate 20 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hvitträsk tour, 45–60 min
On the Hvitträsk tour, you will hear fascinating stories about the history, residents and architecture of the studio home. The tour is ideal for associations, companies and groups of friends as an overview of the magnificent Hvitträsk.
Hvitträsk residents tour, 45–60 min
Hvitträsk was built as a home and workplace. This tour takes you on a journey into the everyday lives and celebrations of the Saarinen, Gesellius and Lindgren families of Hvitträsk.
Garden tour, 30–60 min
On the garden tour, you will learn about the history of the yard area and the gardening hobbies of the residents and explore the studio home from the outside.
Guided tours for school groups
Hvitträsk for schools, 30–45 min
The half-hour guided tour for schools introduces the group to the history and residents of Hvitträsk. Built over 100 years ago in Kirkkonummi, the building is unique in its architecture and served as the workplace and family home of Finnish architects Herman Gesellius, Armas Lindgren and Eliel Saarinen.
Tours are available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

Independent visits to the museum by school groups are free of charge for the whole group. Teachers can visit the museum in advance by showing their OAJ membership card at the ticket office and mentioning that they are coming to prepare a lesson. The group can visit the museum independently during the opening hours. The teacher is responsible for their group during the visit.
