For children
People under the age of 18 have free admission to the open-air museum. You can play with toys in the children’s summer loft or try on historical clothing, play croquet or ride a hobby horse in Kahiluoto Manor. During the summer there is a real live horse and pony visiting the outdoor museum – check the website for times. Children can take part in guided tours and workshops with an adult.

Children's own guided tours
Welcome to a house viewing! Help a person looking for a house find their dream home at Seurasaari. The tour takes place both outside and inside the museum buildings.
The duration is approximately 45-50 minutes. The recommended age for the tour is 4-8 years. Children joining the tour must be accompanied by their own adult.
Children's own guided tours start at Iisalmi parsonage, please sign up for the tour on the same day by the museum shop. Children under 18 have free admission to the museum.
Children's own guided tours:
6.6-12.8 every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 12 (in Finnish)
Additionally on these Saturdays: 19.8, 26.8, 2.9, 9.9 at 12.
Children's own workshops, Ivars
Create your own souvenir from the museum visit. The non-stop workshop has varying themes during the summer.
On Wednesdays 7.6–13.8 at 14–16
No sign up needed. Children must be accompanied by their own adult. Included in the museum ticket.
Children's summer loft, Kurssi
The children’s summer loft invites you to play! The loft is open from June 1st to August 31st in the courtyard area of the Kurssi farmstead. The
toys in the loft are free to use.
Museum ticket required.
Hobby-horsing and other activities at Kahiluoto manor (from 1.6 onwards)
