Seurasaari Open-Air Museum

  • Welcome to the Seurasaari Open-Air Museum. In May, we will be open Mon-Fri 9-15, Sat-Sun 11-17. From the beginning of June, the museum will be open daily 11-17.

  • The renewal of the water pipeline and sewerage network will continue in Seurasaari island until the end of May 2017.
    The island's traffic uses exceptional routes during the renovation work. At the beginning of the museum area by the
    ticket box office, there are instructions about the current travel routes.
  • On Ascension Day 25.5. the museum will exceptionnally be open 11-17.
The Open-Air Museum of Seurasaari is located on a beautiful green island just a few kilometres from the heart of Helsinki. The island is a tranquil oasis in the midst of the city and at the museum the traditional Finnish way of life is displayed in the cottages, farmsteads and manors of the past four centuries that have been relocated from all around Finland.
